Independent, family-run, and on your side
We set up County Repair Centre to be the kind of garage we’d trust with our own family’s cars: straightforward, skilled and fair — because it is a family business.
Based on Wash Road in Hutton, we look after cars and vans from across Brentwood, Shenfield and south Essex. Customers bring us everything from daily runabouts to cherished classics — and they stay because we treat every vehicle like it matters, because it does.
Our technicians are IMI and City & Guilds trained, our diagnostic equipment is advanced OE-level kit, and our pricing is always explained before a single bolt is turned. County Repair Centre is a genuine family-run business, owned and led by Jamie, who still works on the cars himself every day. His wife and son work alongside him in the business — so when you call or drop in, you’re talking to the family who actually own the place. Around the family is a team of experienced, fully qualified professionals. Every technician is IMI and City & Guilds trained and time-served, and we work on all makes and models — from carburetted classics to the latest common-rail turbos.
